STA SET POLYESTER DOUBLE BRAID

Also known as "yacht braid", this polyester double braid is made by New England Ropes.  Polyester is strong, very tough and abrasion resistant, and will not shrink after getting wet.  Widely used on the show circuit for its beauty and ease of handling. Spliceable.

Stock colors:  white with red tracer, solid black, red, blue, or green with 2 white flecks and red tracer, black with red tracer only, or solid black.
Stock sizes:  1/4", 5/16", 1/2"  ** Other sizes available upon request.

XLE POLYESTER DOUBLE BRAID

Same great characteristics as the Sta Set but a little less expensive.  Easily spliced. 

Stock colors: solid white, white with 2 red, green, or blue flecks, solid red, green, blue, or black with 3 white flecks
Stock sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 1/2"  ** Other sizes available upon request

POSH SPUN POLYESTER DOUBLE BRAID

A polyester double braid with a gentler, "fuzzier" hand.  Used primarily for lead ropes.  Hard to splice.

Stock colors: solid white, red, green, blue, or black
Stock sizes:  1/2", 5/8"

NYLON DOUBLE BRAID

Same construction as our other double braids but with nylon.  This rope tends to be a little more supple but also has a tendency to shrink a bit when wet.  Available in more colors than polyester. Spliceable.

Stock colors: solid white, whie with a gold fleck, 1/2 gold & 1/2 white, solid black, red, green, dark green, royal blue, navy blue, gold, and burgundy.
Stock sizes: 1/4", 1/2", 5/8"

BRAIDED SAFETY BLUE

Nicknamed "tree braid" by us.  Originally designed as an arborist climbing rope, Braided Safety Blue makes great leads.  Wax coated yarns are used in its construction giving it a very supple, nice feel in the hands.  The wax also helps to keep dirt out and to make knot tying more secure and untying easier.  It is also very strong and rugged.  With the core stripped out, it makes great reins as well.  Very difficult to splice.

MOUNTAINEERING ACCESSORY CORD

These nylon braids used in rock climbing and safety applications, work really well for hand tied halters.  They are strong and tough yet quite attractive due to the many varied and bright color patterns available.

Stock colors:  random, assorted multi-colored pattern, solid red and solid black.  (**custom patterns available by special order)
Stock sizes:  6mm (1/4"), 7mm, 8mm (5/16")

PARACHUTE CORD

Parachute cord, or paraline as it is also known, is primarily used as a braiding cord in this industry.  Make your own straps, ties, reins, or halters by hand braiding several ends together.  Allows for great creative possibilities.  Also great for millions of other uses, from shoe laces to light weight tie downs.

Stock sizes:  approximately 5/32"

PRE-MADE LEAD ROPES

We make these ourselves from the ends of spools of nylon and polyester double braid.  As such, specific color availability cannot be guaranteed.  Minimum length is 9 ft with either a bull snap or bolt snap professionally spliced to one end.
